As a growing organisation our outreach work in the community, education and wellbeing sector is also increasing.
We are working out of a groovy office in Wellington Central delivering the management of our three internationally-awarded national choirs (New Zealand Youth Choirs, Voices New Zealand and NZSSC).
Your role would be to manage all outreach activities across our organisation, Choirs Aotearoa New Zealand (CANZ). The current outreach programme includes workshops and performances in schools, conductor and vocal coaching internships, delivering Voices NZ singers mentoring programmes, a National Composers Competition, and our online learning tool ChoirLab. We intend to grow our portfolio to include the development of another training choir for young people, work into the corrections system and programmes to support wellbeing through singing.
If you are passionate about learning and nurturing skill development, working with youth and have working knowledge of the school and education system, are great at planning and devising programmes, this could be your next dream job.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an iconic national organisation and grow as an arts manager in New Zealand’s vibrant creative sector.
Our HQ is in Wellington, but we are open to discuss flexible working set-ups. Some travel and regular presence at the HQ is required.
